Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Sulphur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Epping! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sulphur keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Epping. Sulphur throws a body punch but Epping moves out of range. Epping dodges the punch combination from Sulphur.
Epping ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sulphur moves away. Epping throws a poor cross that misses
so Sulphur counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sulphur wants to pass the guard but Epping is keeping the position. Sulphur is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sulphur postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sulphur wants to control from the top but Epping keeps moving. Epping is trying to control the position but Sulphur postures up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jake Epping has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Epping misses with a body shot.

and Epping counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've been informed that Epping has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Epping tries to clinch but Sulphur moves out of range. Epping throws the kick towards the body but Sulphur avoids it. Epping tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sulphur was well out of range. Poor timing from Epping. Epping misses with a hook
and Sulphur counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sulphur prevents Epping from improving his position. Epping is refusing to be controlled, as Sulphur sits in half guard. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sulphur thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Epping's head. Sulphur looks to land a strike but Epping avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Sulphur wants to pass the guard but Epping is keeping the position. Sulphur is looking to work some ground and pound but Epping has wrist control. Epping keeping moving, preventing Sulphur from controlling successfully. Sulphur postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sulphur postures up in Epping's guard and throws a big left but Epping blocks it. Sulphur slips nicely into half guard. Sulphur wants to take a breather but Epping is having none of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sulphur not landing any meaningful shots this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Epping wants to control but Sulphur is keeping busy.

Lorenzo Sulphur dominated that round. That's time! Sulphur's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Epping changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Epping cracks Sulphur with an open hand slap. Epping is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sulphur rather than just go for the knockout. Epping misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sulphur counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Epping ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sulphur moves away. Nice shot lands for Epping. Epping fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sulphur manages to avoid it. Sulphur walks into a stiff left hand from Epping. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sulphur throws the left hand but Epping avoids the punch easily. Epping throws a hook to the side of Sulphur's head but Sulphur sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Epping fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sulphur manages to avoid it. Epping with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Jake Epping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sulphur slips under a jab. A slapping leg kick lands for Epping.
Sulphur fails to land with a series of punches.
Epping swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sulphur. Epping ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sulphur moves away. A shot to the liver by Epping. Beautiful body shot. Epping connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sulphur is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Epping ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Oh Sulphur is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Epping lands a brutal uppercut that launches Sulphur off his feet! Sulphur tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Epping! A less than humble Jake Epping misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
