Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carrol Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Exp Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carrol Witt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Exp Zero! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero tries to clinch there but Witt circles away.
Zero fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Witt avoids it really well and circles away. Witt leaves Zero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Zero wants to clinch and Witt counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Witt manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Witt keeping moving, preventing Zero from controlling successfully. Zero wants to stand but Witt has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Witt wants to sweep but no luck.

Zero has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Witt is proving hard to escape from. Witt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zero on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zero fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Zero wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Witt uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Witt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zero would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Zero loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zero preventing the sweep. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Carrol Witt. Zero tries for a takedown but Witt circles away easily and Witt counters by clinching up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zero is trying to pull guard but Witt has him pressed against the cage. Witt breaks from the clinch.

A close second round but Exp Zero will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Zero closes the distance looking to clinch and Witt counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Zero tries for a takedown but Witt circles away easily and Witt counters with a nice body kick.
Zero is trying hard to land a takedown here. Witt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Carrol Witt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. It looks like Exp Zero has been cut. Zero closes the distance but Witt moves to the side and Witt finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Zero takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Witt looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Witt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zero as he avoids it easily. Exp Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zero gets caught napping as Witt dives in and scores a takedown. Zero manages to retain guard. Witt trying to control but Zero is working from the bottom. Zero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Witt is controlling him. Witt trying to control the position from guard on top but Zero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Witt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zero is proving hard to escape from. Witt showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Zero closes the distance looking to clinch and Witt counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Witt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zero misses with a left hand and Witt counters with a body kick. Zero looks for a takedown but Witt sprawls well.
