Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Fooligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Fooligan!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Marcus Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fooligan fails with a takedown attempt.

Fooligan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fooligan lands in his opponent's guard.
Fooligan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Fooligan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fooligan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson wants to stand and escape but Fooligan is having none of it.

Fooligan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson is not content to let Fooligan control the position.

Jackson is trying to get back to his feet.

Fooligan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jackson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fooligan's guard! Nice work there by Jackson!
Fooligan wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Jackson won't allow Fooligan to sweep him here.
Jackson chips away with some ground and pound.
Fooligan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fooligan is controlling him.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fooligan lands a couple of digs.

Fooligan throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely.

Fooligan drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Fooligan off! Fooligan jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Jackson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fooligan postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fooligan pushes down on Jackson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fooligan wants to pass to mount but Jackson is defending the position.

Jackson wants to control but Fooligan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jackson is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Fooligan jumps into side control!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fooligan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jackson off and has taken his back!

Jackson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Fooligan gets his way!

Fooligan is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Fooligan scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Jackson is looking for a way out.
Fooligan struggling to keep hold of the position.
Jackson trying to control the action but Fooligan just sinks the hooks in.

Fooligan is cranking Jackson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jackson! He's tightened the choke and Jackson is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jimmy Fooligan!
