Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Third Dag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicoco Smilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicoco Smilov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Third Dag's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Third Dag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicoco Smilov! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dag. Smilov misses with an uppercut. Dag saw that one coming. No luck for Smilov with that takedown attempt. Smilov swinging wildly here.
Dag dives in and grabs Smilov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smilov pushes down on Dag's head and hops out. We've been told by Dag's head coaches at Russian Top Team (elite gym) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Smilov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Smilov misses the jab. A momentary lapse in concentration from Smilov enables Dag to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Smilov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dag slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Smilov is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dag wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smilov, who protects the arm well. Dag lands some shots froms side control. Dag creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Dag has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smilov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dag has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dag lands a decent elbow from side control. Dag is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Smilov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Smilov tries to escape but Dag is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smilov looks winded! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dag has knee on belly and moves into mount. Dag lands a nice shot to the head. You get the feeling that Smilov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dag is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Smilov is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dag loads up with a big shot that hurts Smilov! He's pulled Dag in close but Dag has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Smilov survive? More strikes from Dag and Smilov is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Third Dag! A less than humble Third Dag misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
