Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincenzo Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abhijit Chatterjee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincenzo Acevedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abhijit Chatterjee! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chatterjee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Acevedo under the eye. Chatterjee shoots in for a takedown but Acevedo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chatterjee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Acevedo is fending him off so far but Chatterjee persists. Nope, Acevedo circles away and we're back to standing. Acevedo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chatterjee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vincenzo Acevedo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abhijit Chatterjee. Horrible takedown by Acevedo or perhaps it was just good defense by Chatterjee which made him look bad. Acevedo closes the distance and pushes Chatterjee back into the cage. Acevedo tries to land knees in the clinch but Chatterjee avoids the damage to the body. Chatterjee is pressed up against the cage. Acevedo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chatterjee down to the mat. Chatterjee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Acevedo shoots in for a double leg but Chatterjee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chatterjee looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Chatterjee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Acevedo's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chatterjee is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chatterjee trying to control but Acevedo is working from the bottom. Acevedo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chatterjee's guard. Chatterjee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Acevedo looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Acevedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chatterjee on the ground. Acevedo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chatterjee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chatterjee has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acevedo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Acevedo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Chatterjee wants to control but Acevedo is keeping busy.
Chatterjee is trying to stand up here but Acevedo is controlling him well. Chatterjee is looking to control Acevedo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chatterjee avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acevedo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Acevedo passes into side control, despite Chatterjee's attempt to control the position.
Acevedo tries to stand but Chatterjee is controlling his head. Acevedo wants to control but Chatterjee is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Chatterjee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Acevedo is looking to take a break and control but Chatterjee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chatterjee is trying to control Acevedo's posture but Acevedo avoids it. Chatterjee manages to get back to half guard. Chatterjee is staying active underneath Acevedo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chatterjee wants to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chatterjee regains full guard. Nicely done. Chatterjee trying to keep a closed guard but Acevedo is proving a slippery customer.
Chatterjee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Acevedo's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abhijit Chatterjee dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Acevedo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chatterjee moves away. Chatterjee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chatterjee clinches. Chatterjee tries to pull guard but Acevedo holds him up against the cage and eventually Chatterjee drops back down to his feet.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Acevedo. Chatterjee leaning his opponent against the cage. Acevedo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Acevedo jumps guard and drags Chatterjee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Chatterjee passes easily into side control. Nice work. Chatterjee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A control attempt from Acevedo but he's now mounted! Chatterjee trying to control but Acevedo is having none of it. Chatterjee landing strikes from the mount and Acevedo is in trouble! Chatterjee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Acevedo tries to lock up and control but Chatterjee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acevedo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Chatterjee wants to control the pace but Acevedo is squirming around nicely. Chatterjee lands a couple of good shots and Acevedo has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Chatterjee tries to keep control of the position but Acevedo is staying busy. Chatterjee has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Acevedo is defending well but eventually Chatterjee manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Acevedo has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Abhijit Chatterjee! Abhijit Chatterjee bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
