Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wheasy Whee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wheasy Whee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wheasy Whee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wheasy Whee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mario Ventura! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ventura fails to land with a series of punches.
Whee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ventura fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Whee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ventura counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Whee is lucky that one didn't land flush. Whee misses with an uppercut. Ventura saw that one coming. Whee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ventura moves away. Whee drives through with a takedown into Ventura's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Whee wants to get up but he can't break Ventura's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Whee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whee trying to control but Ventura is working from the bottom. Ventura can't keep his opponent in guard - Whee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Wheasy Whee has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ventura just misses with a punch to the body.
Whee throws a half hearted mid kick. Whee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wheasy Whee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some bone on bone action there as Whee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Whee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Whee is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ventura will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whee wants to control but Ventura is keeping him busy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ventura can do anything to dispel that myth. Ventura is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Whee tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Whee advances to full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Whee controlling the pace for now. Whee wants to stand but Ventura is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Whee trying to control but Ventura is having none of it. Ventura is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ventura is squirming around, avoiding Whee's attempts to control the action. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ventura has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Whee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wheasy Whee dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Ventura gets caught flat footed, as Whee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Whee looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ventura wants to improve his position but instead Whee has moved into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ventura missing with punches from the bottom.
Whee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ventura does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Whee uses his free foot to push down on Ventura's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ventura. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Whee is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Whee content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whee has isolated one of Ventura's arms. Ventura looking to fight him off but Whee twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
