Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munechika comes into the arena with Requiem for a Dream blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kato Munechika!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Alkofer!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munechika feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alkofers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Christian Alkofer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alkofer has his takedown stuffed
and Munechika counters with a low kick, right behind Alkofer 's knee.
No joy there for Munechika, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Munechika counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

I would just about give that final round to Christian Alkofer.
