Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Cabidela Rahay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel comes to the ring accompanied by Papillon. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Master Cabidela Rahay enters the ring!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel shoots in and drives through. Rahay sprawls well.
Dengel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rahay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rahay is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rahay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dengel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dengel trying to control but Rahay is working from the bottom.
Rahay tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Rahay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dengel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rahay looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rahay looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rahay!
Rahay is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

Dengel is looking to regain half guard here but Rahay keeps moving and retains side control.
Rahay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've been hearing good reports from Dengel's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Dengel is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Dengel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dengel is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rahay goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dengel rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rahay's guard! Nice work there by Dengel!
Rahay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dengel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rahay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dengel has Rahay in his guard.

Rahay sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dengel's guard.
Rahay passes to side control.
Dengel is looking to regain half guard here but Rahay keeps moving and retains side control.
Dengel regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rahay's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Dengel gets full guard.

Rahay stands and throws Dengel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rahay goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dengel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rahay but great work by Dengel.
Rahay wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Dengel has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rahay's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rahay is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Dengel!
