Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Vogh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Vogh! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mamed Chalidow! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chalidow fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vogh to the ground. Chalidow is now in Vogh's guard. Vogh keeping moving, preventing Chalidow from controlling successfully. Chalidow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vogh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chalidow has managed to get both his arms back between Vogh's legs - danger averted. Vogh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chalidow is in close to Vogh's body, working some short punches and elbows. Vogh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chalidow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vogh keeping moving, preventing Chalidow from controlling successfully. Chalidow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vogh is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vogh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chalidow is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vogh! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mamed Chalidow will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chalidow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vogh avoids it really well and circles away. Chalidow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vogh circles away. Vogh slaps away a takedown attempt from Chalidow, before circling back to the center of the mat. John Vogh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamed Chalidow. Chalidow has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chalidow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vogh gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Chalidow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chalidow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Chalidow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chalidow wants to control from the top but Vogh keeps moving. Vogh working for a triangle but Chalidow defends it easily.

Chalidow is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vogh can't fight it off and eventually Chalidow manages to take the fight to the floor. Vogh looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chalidow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vogh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vogh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chalidow is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vogh. Vogh is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Chalidow wants to control but Vogh is keeping him busy. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
