The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiki throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Davy Bauwens has been cut.
Bauwens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kiki paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kiki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bauwens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kiki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bauwens's back instead.

Bauwens is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kiki gets his way!

Kiki lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kiki connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bauwens! He's out on his feet! Kiki rushes in and drops Bauwens with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
