Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, william frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Holliday! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! frost fails with an attempt to clinch.
frost has managed to clinch.
Holliday has had enough of the clinch but frost keeps him there for the moment. Holliday can't break the clinch.
frost tries for a takedown but Holliday manages to get underhooks.
Holliday wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but frost has him pressed against the cage. Holliday has had enough of the clinch but frost keeps him there for the moment. frost drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holliday gets the underhooks and prevents it.
frost throws an elbow but it's blocked.
frost prevents Holliday from breaking the clinch. frost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Holliday misses with an uppercut. frost saw that one coming. frost tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. frost misses with a head kick.
frost swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
frost throws a head kick but Holliday moves out of range.
frost lands a head kick. Holliday smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nice body punch from Holliday. frost wants to clinch up but Holliday keeps it at a distance. frost shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holliday pinned against the cage. Holliday gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for william frost. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holliday wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. frost is breathing heavily. Holliday lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holliday fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Holliday misses with a few strikes there.
Holliday drops frost with a beautiful combination! frost stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Holliday is looking for the KO!
It looks like william frost has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holliday throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
frost dodges the punch combination from Holliday.
frost closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
frost is rocked! Holliday keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oh frost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Holliday works frost's body with a nice hook. frost seems to have got his legs back now. Holliday lands with an uppercut that bounces frost off the cage and back into rage. Holliday throws a hook to the side of frost's head but frost sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Holliday circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops frost to the canvas! frost doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Holliday keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
