Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Zenaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aaron Parsons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robert Zenaldo! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zenaldo shoots in for a double leg but Parsons sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Zenaldo clinches. Zenaldo breaks the clinch.
Zenaldo dives in for a single leg takedown but Parsons sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Zenaldo has Parsons pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parsons manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Aaron Parsons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Zenaldo. Zenaldo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Zenaldo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Parsons working hard to break the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Parsons - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Parsons softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Parsons tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Zenaldo avoids it. Zenaldo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Parsons trying to control the position but instead, Zenaldo has worked for underhooks and has pushed Parsons into the cage. Parsons lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Parsons looking to stall.
Zenaldo tries to pull guard but Parsons forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Parsons lands an elbow just above Zenaldo 's eye.
It looks like Robert Zenaldo has been cut. Zenaldo breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zenaldo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Parsons wants to get back to his feet. Zenaldo is looking to take a break and control but Parsons is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zenaldo is looking to pass Parsons's guard but actually Parsons recovers to full guard. Parsons kicks Zenaldo off and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parsons tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Zenaldo counters by moving into the clinch. Parsons softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Parsons breaks the clinch.
Zenaldo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parsons was well out of range. Poor timing from Zenaldo. Parsons wants to clinch up but Zenaldo keeps it at a distance. Zenaldo has Parsons up against the cage in a clinch.
Parsons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. No luck with that takedown attempt from Zenaldo.

Zenaldo throws a series of punches but Parsons moves out of range. Zenaldo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Zenaldo darts in looking for a takedown but Parsons gets double underhooks and turns Zenaldo into the cage. Parsons lands with a short shot to the head. Parsons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Parsons moves to clinch but Zenaldo breaks away and Zenaldo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zenaldo stops Parsons from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zenaldo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parsons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zenaldo won't allow Parsons to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Parsons wants to clinch. Zenaldo throws a jab when Parsons was well out of range. Parsons closes the distance and clinches. Parsons tries to work over Zenaldo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aaron Parsons will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Robert Zenaldo's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Parsons misses with some punches.

Zenaldo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Parsons looking to slow down the pace here. Parsons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Zenaldo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parsons sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zenaldo somewhat. Parsons tries to clinch but Zenaldo moves away and Zenaldo counters with a shoot takedown. Parsons fights it but they end up in guard. Zenaldo won't allow Parsons to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parsons trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Parsons wants to clinch up but Zenaldo keeps it at a distance. Zenaldo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Parsons will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Parsons wants to stand but Zenaldo is controlling the position. Zenaldo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Parsons wriggles free and stands up. Parsons fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zenaldo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parsons is fending him off so far but Zenaldo persists. Nope, Parsons circles away and we're back to standing. Zenaldo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Parsons tries to clinch but Zenaldo moves out of range. Robert Zenaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zenaldo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Parsons. Parsons avoids the head kick by Zenaldo.
Zenaldo circles away from the clinch attempt and Zenaldo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zenaldo.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Parsons. I think Parsons has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Aaron Parsons! After the fight, Aaron Parsons was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
