Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinobu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor's entrance music is 2pac - Gangsters paradise. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicholas Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinobu Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayabusa stuffs the takedown. Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Hayabusa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Hayabusa shows good takedown defense. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Hayabusa shows good takedown defense. Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayabusa's waist but Hayabusa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side. Hayabusa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Taylor, pushing him back against the cage. Hayabusa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hayabusa as he avoids it easily. Hayabusa cracks Taylor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hayabusa swivels and escapes. Taylor shoots in and drives through. Hayabusa sprawls well. Taylor is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hayabusa is fending him off so far but Taylor persists. Nope, Hayabusa circles away and we're back to standing. Hayabusa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Crunch! Hayabusa slams his shin into Taylor's torso. Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayabusa's waist but Hayabusa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side. Hayabusa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Taylor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayabusa tries to avoid it but Taylor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayabusa to the ground. Hayabusa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hayabusa thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Taylor if he has to take too many more of those.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa decides to stand up, so the ref orders Taylor to his feet. Hayabusa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Taylor tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hayabusa counters with a stiff right hand. Taylor misses with a takedown and Hayabusa counters with a three punch combo that has Taylor backing up. Taylor nods at Hayabusa to acknowledge the strikes. Taylor tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hayabusa counters with a big head kick but Taylor shrugs it off. Taylor fails with the takedown and Hayabusa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hayabusa counters with a head kick. That will keep Taylor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Hayabusa tries for a takedown but Taylor circles away easily and Taylor counters with a right hand to the body. Taylor tries for a takedown but Hayabusa circles away easily and Hayabusa counters with a one-two to the body. Nicholas Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hayabusa has a takedown stuffed. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt and Hayabusa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Hayabusa goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hayabusa feints and then cracks Taylor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Taylor down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt and Hayabusa counters with a big head kick but Taylor shrugs it off. Taylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hayabusa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hayabusa is trying to stand up. Hayabusa working to try and regain half guard.

Shinobu Hayabusa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Taylor tries for a takedown but Hayabusa circles away easily and Hayabusa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hayabusa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Taylor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hayabusa keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Taylor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Taylor wants to control but Hayabusa is keeping him busy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hayabusa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Shinobu Hayabusa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hayabusa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Taylor misses with a takedown and Hayabusa counters with a head kick. That will keep Taylor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Taylor misses with a takedown and Hayabusa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hayabusa tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom. Hayabusa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Taylor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hayabusa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Taylor is proving hard to escape from. Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hayabusa is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayabusa gets to his feet. Taylor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Taylor will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Hayabusa lands with a kick to the ribs.

Hayabusa displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Taylor gets caught flat footed, as Hayabusa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hayabusa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Taylor being controlled here, momentarily. Hayabusa gets to his feet - Taylor follows without any prompting. Taylor clinches but Hayabusa breaks the clinch and Hayabusa counters with a body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Shinobu Hayabusa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hayabusa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
