Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New Tall Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dan Balan Beautiful Girl kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guy's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Guy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rodriguez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guy's head.
Guy keeping moving, preventing Rodriguez from controlling successfully.
Rodriguez throwing strikes from guard but Guy blocks nicely.
Guy trying to control the position here.
Guy has his foot on Rodriguez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rodriguez works his way back into a safe position though.
Guy is looking to sweep but instead, Rodriguez has passed into half guard.
Rodriguez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rodriguez working over Guy with some ground and pound. Guy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Guy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rodriguez pulls his head out easily.

Rodriguez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guy sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rodriguez lands a nice short elbow.
Rodriguez wants to control but Guy is keeping him busy.
Guy is in trouble now - Rodriguez has advanced to mount!

Rodriguez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Guy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rodriguez looking to control but Guy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Rodriguez content just to control the position here.
Rodriguez lands a big shot there that rocks Guy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rodriguez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guy is looking to escape.

Guy is working to get back to half guard.
Rodriguez working the ground and pound effectively.
Guy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Rodriguez postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Guy badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Rodriguez around the waist but Rodriguez pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Rodriguez is the winner by TKO! Rodriguez jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
