Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Riding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kauko Osterlander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Carl Riding! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kauko Osterlander! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riding misses with a straight left. Osterlander moves into the clinch successfully.
Osterlander will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Riding up against the cage. Riding tries for a takedown but Osterlander manages to get underhooks.
Riding wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Osterlander has him pressed against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Riding as Osterlander tries to tie him up. Knees to the body from Osterlander.
Osterlander lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
The referee is keeping an eye on Osterlander - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Riding is looking to break free of the clinch but Osterlander has double underhooks. Osterlander utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Riding is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Osterlander landing knees to the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Osterlander obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osterlander is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Riding is trying to break the clinch but Osterlander is controlling him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Osterlander lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Osterlander obliges. Osterlander pressing his opponent against the cage. Osterlander connects with a nasty looking knee right to Riding's face.
Osterlander keeps control of Riding as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The referee is keeping an eye on Osterlander - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Riding has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Osterlander avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Riding blocks the elbow strike.
Osterlander is stalling here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osterlander has Riding pressed against the cage, preventing Riding from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Osterlander content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kauko Osterlander. Nice uppercut there from Osterlander. Riding takes a body punch but keeps moving. Osterlander bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Riding's head backwards. Riding staying out of range there. A telegraphed right hand from Osterlander misses the target. We've been told by Riding's head coaches at Finn Warriors Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Osterlander scores with a sloppy right hand. Riding should have avoided that one. Riding fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Riding. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riding gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Osterlander gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kauko Osterlander!
