Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Kyte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyte kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Eve of War. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyte dodges the punch combination from Da Silva.
Kyte tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Kyte as Da Silva shoots in.
Kyte scores with a push kick.
Da Silva is looking to clinch.
Nigel Kyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kyte tries a head kick but it misses.
Kyte throws a nice looking combination but Da Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kyte looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Da Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Da Silva misses with an uppercut.
Da Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Kyte circles away.
Da Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Kyte sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Da Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyte as he jumps to the side.
Nigel Kyte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paolo Da Silva.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kyte shoots and misses
and Da Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kyte lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kyte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kyte has his takedown stuffed
and Da Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Da Silva.
Da Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kyte is keeping the position for now.
Kyte is looking to stand up but Da Silva isn't so interested in that idea.
Da Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Da Silva is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Kyte wants to stand and escape but Da Silva is having none of it.

Da Silva won't allow Kyte to get back to his feet.
Kyte looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kyte knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Silva on the ground.
Kyte is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kyte fails with an attempt to clinch.
Da Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Kyte tries to sprawl out of it but Da Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kyte manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kyte misses with a body kick.
Kyte throws a sloppy head kick
letting Da Silva counter with a right hand.
Da Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Kyte is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Da Silva lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Kyte falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
