Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Isaias Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edward Kenwey!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenwey throws a body kick that misses.
Kenwey tries to bum rush Booker with a series of wild strikes but Booker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kenwey lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Isaias Booker has been cut.
Kenwey circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kenwey counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kenwey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Booker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kenwey misses the jab.
Kenwey lands a head shot.
Booker fails to land with a series of punches.
Kenwey misses with an uppercut.
Booker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kenwey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Booker circles away quickly and effectively.
Kenwey swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Booker counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kenwey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Booker keeps control of Kenwey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Booker tries to pull guard but Kenwey forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Booker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kenwey walks away with a smile on his face. Booker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Booker wants to clinch
and Kenwey counters with a two punch combo.
Booker is rocked!
Kenwey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Booker counters with a head kick.
Oh Booker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kenwey grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Booker takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kenwey cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Edward Kenwey!
During a confident post fight interview, Edward Kenwey thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
