Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khahel Mondragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burdon Ambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambler looks to land a combination but Mondragon avoids it well.
Mondragon gets a takedown into half guard.
Mondragon escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Mondragon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ambler's guard.
Ambler tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ambler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mondragon's guard.
Ambler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mondragon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ambler is looking to take a break and control but Mondragon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mondragon wants to hold on but Ambler pushes him away.

Ambler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mondragon keeps working.

Ambler wants to work for an arm triangle but Mondragon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ambler is trying to work for a kimura but Mondragon is defending well.
Mondragon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ambler in particular looking to stall.
Ambler is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mondragon has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ambler is taking a breather. Mondragon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ambler is tying to control. Mondragon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That was a close round but I would say that Khahel Mondragon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ambler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mondragon counters with a single leg into guard. Ambler didn't expect that.
Ambler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mondragon postures up in Ambler's guard and throws a big left but Ambler blocks it.
Ambler is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Ambler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mondragon!
Mondragon has left one of his arms exposed and Ambler doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mondragon screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
