Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ai Lama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Dati-Sam Concepcion as his entrance music. Jon Jones looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ai Lama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets a clinch. Lama trying to control the position but instead, Jones has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lama into the cage. Lama tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Lama misses with a body punch.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lama counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lama swinging wildly here.
Lama tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Lama ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jones jumps guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Lama wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lama passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lama passes the guard and advances to mount! Lama goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jones is on top in guard.
Lama is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Lama could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lama is breathing heavily. Lama controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lama is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lama takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lama scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lama, pushing him back against the cage. Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lama smiles and moves away.
Lama shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ai Lama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. Lama fails in his attempt to clinch. The fighters circle momentarily. Lama darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jones moves into the clinch. Lama trying to stall but Jones improves his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lama has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jones. Jones working hard to break the clinch. Lama lands an elbow just above Jones 's eye. Lama misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.
Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jones gets underhooks to prevent Lama's takedown attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lama wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Lama misses with a shot to the kidneys.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ai Lama will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Lama fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lama is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lama is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jones successfully pulls guard.
Lama has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lama's guard. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones is stalling in the full guard. Lama looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Lama can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jones stands up from half guard. Lama tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Lama delivers a nice body kick. Lama wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Jones shoots for a takedown but Lama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lama keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jones throws a head kick that misses and Lama counters with a one-two to the body. Lama goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward. Lama has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Lama tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ai Lama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lama trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to stand and escape but Lama is having none of it. Jones wants to sweep here but Lama controlling him for the moment. Lama advances position into side control! Jones is looking for a sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lama wants to stand but Jones is controlling his arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Lama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Lama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lama lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively. Ai Lama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lama fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lama misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lama looks to clinch and Jones moves into the clinch. Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lama gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is trying to break free. Lama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones tries to clinch up but Lama circles away and keeps his distance. Lama dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Jones controls Lama momentarily but Lama frees himself. Lama stops Jones from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lama can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lama trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lama won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Jones looking to control.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Lama lands a couple of elbows. Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lama throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely. Lama trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lama wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ai Lama. Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Lama gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage. Ai Lama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. Lama drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones postures up in Lama's guard and throws a big left but Lama blocks it. Jones showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lama looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ai Lama. I think Lama has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
