Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hammed Yusof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Phalcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phalcon gets the takedown into side control.

Phalcon has hold of Yusof's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Yusof manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Yusof is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Phalcon wants to pass to mount but Yusof is defending the position.

BOOM! Phalcon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yusof tries to hold on but Phalcon pushes him away.
Phalcon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Phalcon takes a swing at Yusof's ribcage but misses.

Phalcon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yusof has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Phalcon has passed into side control.
Phalcon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A lull in the action here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Phalcon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Phalcon throws a series of punches but Yusof moves out of range.

Phalcon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yusof to the ground. Phalcon is now in Yusof's guard.
Mark Phalcon has got the better of the ground game so far.
Yusof can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Phalcon controls the pace.
Phalcon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yusof's guard.

Phalcon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Phalcon is working for a guillotine from mount but Yusof frees his head quite easily.
Phalcon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Phalcon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Yusof has worked his arm free - good work by Yusof!

Phalcon is staying tight to Yusof's torso, preventing him from escaping.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Phalcon stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Phalcon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Yusof manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Phalcon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Yusof uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Phalcon.
Yusof tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Phalcon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yusof shoots in looking for a takedown but Phalcon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yusof's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Phalcon is trying to trip Yusof. He has hold of a leg but Yusof is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Phalcon persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Yusof manages to get back to half guard.

Phalcon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Phalcon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Phalcon connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yusof some visible discomfort.
Phalcon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Yusof to see if he's OK.

Yusof wants to control but Phalcon postures up.

Phalcon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Yusof down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Phalcon is working to tighten his grip on Yusof's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Yusof has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Phalcon is really squeezing tight and eventually Yusof passes out! Phalcon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
