Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Meldrick Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Escargesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meldrick Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Meldrick Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Escargesa! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor throws an off balance right hand
and Taylor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Escargesa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Escargesa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Taylor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Escargesa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Escargesa throws a lazy right hand but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Escargesa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Taylor. That one must have hurt. Escargesa tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance. Escargesa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center. Escargesa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Taylor is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Escargesa takes one to the chin there. Oh Taylor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Escargesa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Escargesa moves into the clinch. Taylor seems to have got his legs back now. Taylor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Escargesa lands a jab. Taylor lands a slapping body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Escargesa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Taylor misses with a low kick. Taylor works the jab nicely. A slow jab from Escargesa misses its intended target. Escargesa throws a series of punches but Taylor avoids them all with ease. Taylor jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Escargesa throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Escargesa instigates a clinch. Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Taylor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Escargesa fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Escargesa misses the target. Escargesa has closed the distance and engaged Taylor in a clinch.
Escargesa lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Taylor is looking to break free of the clinch but Escargesa has double underhooks. Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Escargesa circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Taylor to the canvas! Taylor doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Escargesa keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
