The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchek gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lucas avoids the head kick by Buchek.
Buchek tries to clinch up but Lucas circles away and keeps his distance.
Buchek is looking to clinch but Lucas is avoiding it.

Buchek gets a double leg takedown into Lucas's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Buchek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Buchek stalks Lucas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lucas's face. Lucas staggers backwards, shaken.
Buchek tries to close the distance and clinch but Lucas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
