Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Four Loko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Steele might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cinderella Man. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Steele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Four Loko! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Loko's waist but Loko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steele off to one side. Steele tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Loko defends well and Steele ends up having to push Loko into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Steele pulls guard effortlessly. Steele escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Steele is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Steele throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Loko escapes and throws Steele's legs to the side, diving into side control! Loko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Loko sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Steele is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Loko trying to control the action but Steele is working from the bottom. Steele is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at BEVA Fight Home, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Steele is trying to get back to half guard. Loko working the ground and pound but Steele is defending the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steele keeps working. Steele dodges the ground and pound from Loko. Loko missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Steele looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Loko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Steele does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Loko thumps the canvas. That's five minutes gone in the round. Steele is in trouble now - Loko has advanced to mount! Steele is looking to improve his position but Loko isn't that keen on the idea. Steele avoids a series of strikes thrown by Loko.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Loko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Steele is looking to escape. Loko wants to finish this one by submission but Steele is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Loko. Steele can't escape the position.
Loko throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Steele tries to get back to half guard but can't. Loko thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Steele is desperately trying to improve his position but Loko has a good base and remains in mount. Loko throws an elbow from mount that misses. That's eight minutes gone in the round. Loko throws some wild stikes that Steele manages to avoid easily.

Steele is looking to improve his position but Loko isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Loko there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Loko punching from mount but Steele doing a good job of avoiding damage. Loko misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A close round but Four Loko will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Loko has his takedown stuffed and Steele decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Loko's guard. Steele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Loko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Steele pushing down on Loko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Loko is looking to improve his position.

Loko felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Steele tries to pass to full mount but Loko defends it. Steele is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Loko is just riding it out for now. Steele eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Steele's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Steele's back! Loko thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. I really don't envy Steele right now.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Four Loko wasn't active enough on the ground. Steele shoots for a takedown but Loko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Steele stuffs the takedown attempt from Loko. Loko gets slowly back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steele shoots in for a double leg but Loko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Loko tries for a takedown but Steele circles away easily and Steele counters with a nice double leg into side control. Loko won't be happy with that. George Steele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Four Loko. Loko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Steele is looking for a kimura here.
