Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeff Sundin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Riley Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sundin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Sundin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jackson connects with a decent elbow.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Sundin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Let's hope that Jackson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sundin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
BOOM! Jackson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Riley Jackson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Sundin won't allow Jackson to pass to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sundin thows a body shot but no joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sundin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.
Sundin is trying to keep Jackson in close.

Sundin is looking for a triangle but Jackson pushes his legs off easily.
Jeff Sundin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jackson drops back looking for a leg! Sundin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sundin manages to kick Jackson off! Jackson jumps back into Sundin's guard.

Riley Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
