The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ionescu misses with a body kick.
Ionescu tries a head kick but it misses.
Ionescu lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Joseph Baird has been cut.
Baird misses with a series of wild punches.
Ionescu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Baird's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ionescu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ionescu rolls with it to try and escape but Baird cranks on the arm and Ionescu is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
