Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Hutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dixie Normous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Hutton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dixie Normous! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hutton tries a head kick but it misses.

Normous on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Horrible takedown by Normous or perhaps it was just good defense by Hutton which made him look bad. Hutton throws a lazy head kick and Normous counters with a shoot takedown. Hutton fights it but they end up in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Normous is stalling in the full guard. Normous drops back looking for a leg! Hutton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hutton manages to kick Normous off! Normous jumps back into Hutton's guard. Normous passes Hutton's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hutton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Normous controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutton is defending against the submission attempts here by Normous.
Normous prevents Hutton from standing back up.
Normous is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Normous looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hutton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Normous wants to free his trapped foot but Hutton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Normous landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Normous lands a nice short elbow. Hutton wants to get back to his feet. Normous is taking a breather. Hutton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Normous seems to be working for a kimura but Hutton defends the submission attempt. Normous is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Normous lands a nice short elbow. Hutton tries to kick Normous off but Normous keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Normous lands with a punch from half guard. Normous is trying to work for a kimura but Hutton is defending well.
Hutton wants to get back to his feet.
Normous looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hutton is not content to let Normous control the position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Normous working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Normous throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hutton is trying to stand.
Normous looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hutton is looking to escape. Normous tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hutton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hutton wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Normous is working for a kimura but Hutton is defending it quite comfortably.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Normous is looking for a kimura but Hutton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Normous to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dixie Normous dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hutton throws a head kick that misses. Normous closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Normous is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hutton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Normous thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Normous working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Normous has hold of Hutton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hutton seems comfortable defending it but Normous has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hutton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hutton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Normous couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dixie Normous! Dixie Normous seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
