The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hathaway lands a left and a right that send Barral crashing to the mat, dazed. Hathaway thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Andre Luis Barral has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hathaway throws a right and a left that Barral avoids nicely.
Mike Hathaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barral takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Hathaway fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barral, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hathaway for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Hathaway definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Barral fails with the takedown
and Hathaway counters with a straight that turns Barral's legs to rubber! Hathaway pushes forward with more strikes and Barral goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
