The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin cracks Hamilton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Demetrius Hamilton's cut is getting worse.
Austin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hamilton counters with a low kick, right behind Austin 's knee.
Hamilton takes the fight into the clinch.
Austin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Austin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hamilton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Demetrius Hamilton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Austin.
Austin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hamilton swivels and escapes.
Hamilton clinches with his opponent.
Austin is trying to drag Hamilton to the mat but Hamilton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Austin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hamilton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Austin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hamilton to keep the fight standing.
Austin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hamilton has him pressed against the cage.
Hamilton lands a knee to the body.
Austin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hamilton turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hamilton manages to end up in side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hamilton is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Austin is trying to escape and Hamilton transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Austin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hamilton! Very nice indeed!
