0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michal Odklepacz! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odklepacz walks into a jab. Roznicz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A combination from Roznicz does no damage. Roznicz misses with a few strikes there.
Roznicz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Odklepacz. Odklepacz shoots in for a takedown but Roznicz shows good takedown defense. Roznicz scores with a sloppy right hand. Odklepacz should have avoided that one. Odklepacz closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Roznicz's face as he tries to break the clinch. Odklepacz wants a takedown.

Odklepacz throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Odklepacz tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roznicz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Roznicz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Odklepacz tries to improve position but can't. Odklepacz throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
You can see the frustration on Odklepacz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Odklepacz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Roznicz off and has taken his back! Odklepacz scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Odklepacz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roznicz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Roznicz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Odklepacz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Odklepacz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Odklepacz! Roznicz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Odklepacz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Odklepacz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Roznicz is tightening it up a little... Odklepacz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Odklepacz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Odklepacz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Roznicz!
