The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Kuikka.

Kuikka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ferdyshenko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Ferdyshenko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ferdyshenko dives in for a single leg takedown but Kuikka sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kuikka has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ferdyshenko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kuikka has tightened it up now! Ferdyshenko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
