Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Gears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kickit Ingear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oliver Gears! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kickit Ingear! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gears lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Kickit Ingear has been cut. Gears lands the left hand. Danga de danga de dang - Gears scores with a four punch combination!
Ingear is rocked! Gears works Ingear's body with a nice hook. Ingear is still on wobbly legs! Can Gears finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ingear keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ingear seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd cheers as Gears lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ingear doesn't seem phased though. Gears fails with a takedown attempt. Gears misses with a wild body shot. Gears changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ingear tries to avoid it but Gears manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ingear to the ground. Ingear escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Gears. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ingear slips under a jab from Gears. Ingear blocks a head kick by Gears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Gears or perhaps it was just good defense by Ingear which made him look bad. Gears scores with a hook to the body. Ingear takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Gears connects with a body shot. Gears swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ingear closes the distance and pushes Gears back into the cage. Ingear lands with a right to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Ingear. Ingear lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Good body shot from Ingear.
Gears tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ingear smiles and moves away.
Gears stalks Ingear and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ingear's face. Ingear staggers backwards, shaken.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gears cracks Ingear with a good jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ingear throws a big shot that misses. Gears tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ingear defends well and Gears ends up having to push Ingear into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gears tries to score a body lock takedown but Ingear shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ingear pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gears has been working on his balance at White Dragon Tactical, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Ingear. Gears misses with a takedown attempt - Ingear sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gears is breathing heavily. Gears misses with a body shot.

and Ingear counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gears thinking.

Ingear in side control, throwing shots but Gears defends. Ingear trying to control the action but Gears is working from the bottom. Ingear working the ground and pound but Gears is defending the strikes. Gears dodges the ground and pound from Ingear. Ingear working the strikes but Gears uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gears wants to control but Ingear is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Gears manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gears is pulling down on Ingear's head to control his posture. Ingear throwing strikes but missing. Gears working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ingear. Ingear trying to control but Gears is working from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ingear decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gears changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ingear gets cracked there but stands up to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Oliver Gears will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kickit Ingear's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gears fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ingear manages to avoid it. Gears lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ingear circles away quickly and effectively. Gears stays in close to Ingear's body and controls the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gears drops back looking for a leg! Ingear is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ingear manages to kick Gears off! Gears jumps back into Ingear's guard. Gears won't allow Ingear to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ingear can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gears trying to control but Ingear is working from the bottom. Ingear will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kickit Ingear has got the better of the ground game so far. Gears drops back looking for a leg! Ingear is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ingear manages to kick Gears off! Gears jumps back into Ingear's guard. Gears stands and throws Ingear's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gears working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gears tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gears has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gears is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ingear looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gears gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ingear is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gears lets go of the hold and Ingear can pop his arm back in it's socket.
