Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Oyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itsu Hitigaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitigaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Whistler kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Oyama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Itsu Hitigaki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oyama stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Oyama is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hitigaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Oyama shoots in for a double leg but Hitigaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Oyama closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitigaki circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Oyama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oyama closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitigaki circles away. Oyama misses with a kick to the body.
Oyama misses the jab. Oyama shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Oyama was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Oyama creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hitigaki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Hitigaki is pushing Oyama's head away, looking to escape. Oyama manages to hold on to the position though. Oyama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hitigaki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Oyama creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hitigaki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Oyama has hold of Hitigaki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hitigaki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oyama cranks the arm and Hitigaki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hitigaki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Shinji Oyama! An intense looking Shinji Oyama took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I wanna thank Xtreme Punishment for the Improvement in my stand up. I wanted to show case that a bit in this fight. I'm fucking talkin' that belt man....I work too hard!'.
