The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroyer feints and as Podgaetschii raises his hands in defense, Destroyer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Podgaetschii will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Podgaetschii escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Destroyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Destroyer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Podgaetschii is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Podgaetschii has escaped and now he's on top!
Podgaetschii is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Podgaetschii avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Destroyer is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Podgaetschii frees his head nicely. Oh but Destroyer has switched to an armbar! Podgaetschii is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
