Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dennis Alkofer!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Reyes blocks a head kick by Alkofer.
Reyes works over Alkofer's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Dennis Alkofer has been cut.
Reyes jabs Alkofer right on the nose. Alkofer blinks but takes it well.
Alkofer tries to score with a low kick but Reyes moves his leg out of the way.
Reyes lands a jab to the nose.
Alkofer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alkofer wants it to stay on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alkofer throws a lazy right hand but Reyes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A head kick misses from Alkofer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donk. Reyes catches Alkofer right on the button with a cross.
Alkofer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Reyes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alkofer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Reyes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alkofer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reyes has managed to get both his arms back between Alkofer's legs - danger averted.

Alkofer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reyes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alkofer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reyes is aware though and is defending well.

Reyes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Alkofer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Reyes get's back to his feet.
Alkofer misses with a head kick.
Reyes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alkofer has time to react.
Reyes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alkofers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Alkofer throws a right and a left that Reyes avoids nicely.
Reyes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Reyes seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
