Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ange Fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fili is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Spaceship Superstar. Ange Fili will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fili misses with a body kick.
Fili scores with a push kick.
Piper gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Piper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fili sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fili rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Piper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Piper looks for a takedown but Fili sprawls well.
Piper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fili pinned against the cage. Fili gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roddy Piper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fili stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fili wants it to stay on the feet.
Fili takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fili throws a quick inside leg kick.

Piper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Piper is in close to Fili's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Piper postures up and lands a big shot to Fili's brow.
Fili is looking to stand up but Piper isn't so interested in that idea.
Piper trying to control the position from guard on top but Fili is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Piper throwing strikes but missing.

Fili scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fili delivers a nice body kick.

Fili is looking to slow Piper down with leg kicks.
Ange Fili is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fili changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fili stuffs the takedown attempt from Piper. Piper gets slowly back to his feet.
Fili fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Piper.
Piper is breathing heavily.
Fili looks to land a right hand but Piper moved out of range.
Piper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fili avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Piper misses the target.

Piper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fili defends it nicely.
Fili keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fili throws a good cross that connects.
Fili tries to clinch but Piper moves out of range.
Fili throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fili pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A nice combination there by Fili.

Piper is rocked!
Fili darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Piper's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fili before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
