Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raekwon The Chef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Chef might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to C.R.E.A.M. - Wu Tang Clan. Raekwon The Chef had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raekwon The Chef! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Renzo Alves ! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves slips under a jab. Nice jab there from Alves . Alves checks a low kick from The Chef. The Chef throws a front kick aimed at Alves 's knee but Alves avoids it well. No joy there for The Chef, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alves loads up on a big right hand but The Chef slips the punch. Alves chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The Chef lands a slapping body shot.
The Chef stuns Alves with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ouch! a nice leg kick from The Chef, right into the meat.
Alves scores with a hook to the body. The Chef takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Alves lands with an uppercut that bounces The Chef off the cage and back into range. This has been an exciting period of action! The Chef closes the distance and clinches. Alves is trying to push The Chef away but The Chef has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The Chef prevents Alves from breaking the clinch. The Chef keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Alves 's efforts to push away. The Chef tries to throw a body punch but Alves avoids it by throwing The Chef back against the cage. Alves tries to circle away but The Chef has him pinned against the cage. The Chef misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from The Chef. The Chef working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The Chef gets through Alves 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The Chef lands a body shot in the clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Alves throws an elbow but misses. The Chef's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The Chef has Alves pressed against the cage, preventing Alves from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Alves blocking some punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Alves takes a shot to the head. The Chef misses with a hook from the clinch. Alves tries to break the clinch but The Chef is controlling the position. The Chef struggles to land a body shot inside as Alves controls his hands.
The Chef is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Alves is keeping busy. Alves has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. The Chef seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Alves can turn it around. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Alves tries for a takedown but The Chef manages to get underhooks.

A little nod from Alves there as he acknowledges the shot. Raekwon The Chef is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Chef swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Chef connects with a body shot. The Chef scores with a leg kick.
An inside leg kick from The Chef misses. Alves walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The Chef goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Alves moves out of range of the body kick. The Chef throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Alves checks the leg kick nicely there.
Alves throws a combination. The Chef tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ouch! a nice leg kick from The Chef, right into the meat.
The Chef pushes Alves up against the cage in a clinch. Alves 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Alves looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The Chef can't find room to land a body shot as Alves controls the action.
A short uppercut from The Chef. The Chef gets through Alves 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Alves lands a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raekwon The Chef dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Alves takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Alves takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The Chef lands a nice leg kick that just misses Alves 's sensitive parts. Alves swings away with a leg kick that misses. The Chef walks into a stiff left hand from Alves . The Chef has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Alves finds it's way round the side to connect with The Chef's head. The Chef misses with a low kick. Renzo Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alves takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The Chef lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alves circles away quickly and effectively. The Chef walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Alves checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Alves ducks under a wild hook from The Chef. The Chef moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alves misses with a hook to the body

Alves has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by The Chef after a bit of a struggle. Alves swings wildly with an uppercut but The Chef uses good head movement to avoid it.

Come on The Chef - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Alves scores with a jab to the jaw. Alves slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The Chef bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alves 's head backwards. Alves closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Chef circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The Chef is looking to slow Alves down with leg kicks. The Chef lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Renzo Alves has been cut. The Chef scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Alves is still on wobbly legs! Can The Chef finish him? Alves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by The Chef.

The Chef seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Alves seems to have recovered his senses. The Chef is pressed up against the cage. Alves has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Chef down to the mat. The Chef avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Raekwon The Chef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo Alves . The Chef misses with a jab, cross combination.
That kick from The Chef tenderised Alves 's leg. Alves is trying to keep his angry face on. Alves takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Alves walks into a straight right hand from The Chef. Good shot there by The Chef. Alves leaves his chin hanging out and The Chef seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Alves crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raekwon The Chef! Raekwon The Chef is the new lightweight champion! In his post fight interview, Raekwon The Chef started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
