Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Hammond misses
and Freitas counters with a good low kick that Hammond was not able to check.
Hammond dives in for a single leg takedown but Freitas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Freitas is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Hammond has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Freitas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Freitas wants to escape the position.

Freitas defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Hammond's arms.

Al Hammond is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hammond shoots in looking for a takedown. Freitas tries to sprawl out of it but Hammond keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freitas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight!
Wendel Freitas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
