Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Landeskog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landeskog comes to the cage accompanied by Warm Shadow - Fink. Johnson has chosen Psycho - 50 Cent as his entrance music. Randall Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Magnus Landeskog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Johnson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landeskog tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Magnus Landeskog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Landeskog manages to avoid it. Landeskog instigates a clinch. Johnson tries a body shot but Landeskog blocks it.
Landeskog's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Johnson is struggling to control the position. Landeskog lands with a left to the head. Landeskog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Johnson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Johnson takes a swing at Landeskog's ribcage but misses. Landeskog just misses with a punch to the body.
Landeskog takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Landeskog lands with a good body shot. Johnson throws a hook to the side of Landeskog's head but Landeskog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Johnson moves out of range of the strikes. Landeskog wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Landeskog. Landeskog gets slowly back to his feet. Landeskog is looking to wear down Johnson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Johnson walks into a left hand. Landeskog looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range. Johnson throws a low kick but Landeskog moves out of range easily. We've been told by Landeskog's head coaches at CT Antiga União that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Landeskog's hands. Landeskog misses with an uppercut
and Johnson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Johnson moves forwards but Landeskog connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Landeskog punishes Johnson's body with a nice straight punch. Johnson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Johnson throws a body punch but Landeskog moves out of range. Landeskog scores with a jab. Johnson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Landeskog swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Landeskog fails with an attempt to clinch.
Landeskog decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Landeskog is trying to work for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Johnson gets back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson wants to sweep but no luck. Landeskog wants to stand and escape but instead Johnson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Landeskog wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Johnson manages to pass to side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson not doing much here.
Landeskog is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Magnus Landeskog dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Landeskog uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Landeskog was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson. Landeskog closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Landeskog is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Johnson is controlling Landeskog's position as best he can from this difficult position. Landeskog is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Landeskog. Johnson is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson wants to get back to full guard. Landeskog tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Landeskog is trying to work for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Landeskog seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Johnson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
