The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds moves to clinch but McBlargo breaks away
and McBlargo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reynolds won't be happy with that.

McBlargo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reynolds keeps working.

It looks like Bert Reynolds has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reynolds throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McBlargo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Reynolds is landing a low percentage of strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McBlargo dives in and scores a takedown into Reynolds's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McBlargo throws a strike but Reynolds rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's time! Reynolds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McBlargo goes for a double leg but Reynolds avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reynolds continues to drive forward.
Reynolds has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McBlargo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McBlargo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reynolds is trying to keep an underhook but McBlargo manages to get the takedown into half guard.

McBlargo is working for a submission of some sort.
Reynolds gets back to full guard.
McBlargo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
