Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daryl Browning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephen Bell!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Browning tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bell swivels and escapes.
No luck for Bell with that takedown attempt.
Browning shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bell sprawls well. Bell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Browning gets slowly back to his feet.

Browning tries to sprawl but Bell drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bell is keen to just control but Browning is a slippery customer.
Browning wants to improve his position but Bell is controlling well.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stephen Bell wasn't active enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Bell or perhaps it was just good defense by Browning which made him look bad.
Browning leaves Bell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Daryl Browning has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Bell.
Bell shoots for a takedown but Browning saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Browning - the referee stops the clock and Bell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Browning. Bell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Browning.

Browning's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Browning tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Browning somewhat.

Browning lands a nice hook to Bell's body. Bell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bell throws a push kick but Browning slaps the foot to one side.
Bell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Browning is fending him off so far but Bell persists. Nope, Browning circles away and we're back to standing.

Browning darts in looking for a takedown but Bell gets double underhooks and turns Browning into the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Daryl Browning will probably get the nod.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Bell is trying to trip Browning. He has hold of a leg but Browning is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bell persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Stephen Bell.
