Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John has chosen Cake the Distance as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Dee Blake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack John! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John throws a combination that misses and Blake counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Blake. Blake pushes off an throws an elbow but John leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Blake is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Blake jumps guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. John preventing the sweep. John must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. John postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake wants to sweep here but John controlling him for the moment. Blake controls John momentarily but John frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dee Blake. John swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blake counters by moving into the clinch. John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jack John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. John throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blake counters with a stiff right hand. John throws a combination that misses and Blake holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Blake prevents a takedown attempt there.
John goes for a takedown attempt but Blake pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
John looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blake closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Blake looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Blake manages to pull guard.
Blake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blake working a defensive guard but John manages to pass into side control anyway.
This has been an exciting period of action! John decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from John as Blake shoots in. John falls off balance throwing a combination
and Blake counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. John misses with a double jab
and Blake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. John throws a combination that misses and Blake counters by clinching up. Blake looking for a takedown. Blake is looking for a takedown up against the cage. John gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dee Blake. That's going to take a lot out of him. John working hard to break the clinch. Blake jumps guard but John turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. John is trying to force a seperation but Blake has the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blake jumps guard but John stands there with Blake around his waist. Blake gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
John tries to break free but Blake pushes him back against the cage. John is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blake pulls him back up using the underhooks. Blake trying to land knees to the body.
Blake is trying to break free. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. John is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Blake is looking for a takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dee Blake dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
John misses with a double jab
and Blake counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. John throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Blake to counter with a crisp jab. Blake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts John as he jumps to the side. John throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blake counters with a one-two to the body. John swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blake counters by moving into the clinch. Blake is trying to break the clinch but John is controlling him. John is working for takedown but Blake is calmly controlling the position for now. John is trying to break the clinch but Blake is controlling him. Blake wants to get back to striking at distance but John won't allow it.
Blake drops down looking for an ankle pick but John pulls his leg out and moves away.
John falls off balance throwing a combination

That's one minute gone in the round. John throws a combination that misses and Blake counters with a left to the body. John is breathing heavily. Blake lands with a nice combination. John backs away looking to recover.
John is rocked! Dee Blake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Blake connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt John! He's out on his feet! Blake rushes in and drops John with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dee Blake! In defeat, Jack John stepped up to the mic, saying 'This Was the worst day of my life'.
