Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nonfu Lakalaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakalaka getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Nicholas Ares has been cut.
Ares shoots in looking for a takedown but Lakalaka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ares's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ares showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lakalaka.
Ares walks into a straight right hand from Lakalaka.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ares tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lakalaka counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ares takes one to the chin there.
Lakalaka grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ares takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Lakalaka cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
