Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joao Linequer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Fawkes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linequer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fawkes is fending him off so far but Linequer persists. Nope, Fawkes circles away and we're back to standing.
Linequer walks into a stiff left hand from Fawkes.
Linequer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fawkes sprawls well initially but Linequer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Linequer is just content to waste time from the top position. Fawkes takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Linequer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Linequer wants to control from the top but Fawkes keeps moving.
Fawkes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Linequer trying to control but Fawkes is working from the bottom.
Linequer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Linequer trying to control the position from guard on top but Fawkes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Linequer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fawkes on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Joao Linequer just wasn't active enough.
Linequer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fawkes as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Linequer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fawkes!
Fawkes defending against the ground and pound.
Linequer tries to get to his feet but Fawkes is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Linequer in his guard.
Fawkes wants to stand but Linequer is controlling the position.
Fawkes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Linequer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fawkes is tightening it up a little... Linequer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Linequer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Linequer taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fawkes!
