Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willis Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor Elliott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willis Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taylor Elliott!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Baker or perhaps it was just good defense by Elliott which made him look bad.
Baker darts in looking for a takedown but Elliott gets double underhooks and turns Baker into the cage.
A hook to the body from Elliott.
Elliott blocks a body shot from Baker.
Elliott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baker dives in and grabs Elliott's left leg, looking for a takedown. Elliott pushes down on Baker's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willis Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elliott closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baker's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Elliott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Baker controls Elliott momentarily but Elliott frees himself.
Elliott wants to control from the top but Baker keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Elliott wanted to stand there but Baker had control of the position.
Elliott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baker is keeping the position for now.
Elliott controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Taylor Elliott.
Elliott shoots in looking for a takedown. Baker tries to sprawl out of it but Elliott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Elliott throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Baker.
It looks like Willis Baker has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Elliott shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Elliott decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Baker with a lazy takedown attempt
and Elliott counters with a crisp one two that drops Baker! Elliott thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Baker to his feet! Baker is in big trouble!
Baker is rocked!
Baker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baker is breathing heavily.
Elliott instigates a clinch.
Elliott turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Elliott manages to end up in side control.
Elliott happy to just control the position for now.
Elliott decides to stand up, so the ref orders Baker to his feet.
Elliott is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Baker's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Elliott moves into full mount! Baker won't be happy about that!

Elliott loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Baker scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Elliott land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Elliott stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taylor Elliott!
