Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnell Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Loblaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Loblaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donnell Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob Loblaw! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loblaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Hill circles away.
Loblaw clinches up against the cage. Loblaw struggles to land a body shot inside as Hill controls his hands.
Loblaw is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hill is defending well for now. Hill really is a fat lump. Hill gets control of Loblaw's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hill will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Loblaw forces his way into half guard. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Loblaw on the ground. Loblaw is thwarting Hill's attempts to control the position. Loblaw is pressing down on Hill's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hill is holding on for now. Hill is looking to improve his position.
Loblaw not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loblaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Loblaw thows a huge punch but Hill dodges it nicely.

It looks like Loblaw might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Hill tries to get to full guard but Loblaw has control of the leg. Loblaw thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Loblaw throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hill to regain full guard. Loblaw postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Loblaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Loblaw trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom. Loblaw throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hill works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Loblaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hill is keeping the position for now. Loblaw throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hill looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hill utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Loblaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Loblaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hill striking off his back but it's not causing Loblaw any problems. Hill might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loblaw wants to get up but he can't break Hill's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Loblaw throws a big elbow that misses. Loblaw throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hill works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hill looking to control.
Loblaw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hill keeping moving, preventing Loblaw from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Loblaw was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Loblaw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hill somewhat. Loblaw is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill feints a jab promting Loblaw to slip. Hill then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Loblaw slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Loblaw clinches up with Hill and pushes him back against the cage. Hill can't break the clinch.
Loblaw tries to break the clinch but Hill is controlling the position. Loblaw manages to break the clinch.
Loblaw fails with a takedown attempt. Loblaw explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loblaw takes the fight into the clinch. Loblaw on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Bob Loblaw dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hill shoots in and drives through. Loblaw sprawls well. Loblaw shoots in looking for a takedown. Hill tries to sprawl out of it but Loblaw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hill misses with a head kick.

Loblaw tries to clinch up. Hill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A left and a right from Loblaw both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Donnell Hill has been cut. Hill shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Loblaw defends it nicely. Hill fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donnell Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Loblaw drives through and clinches with Hill against the cage.

Loblaw lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Loblaw's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hill is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Loblaw. Loblaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Hill sprawls well. He's pushed Loblaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hill takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice sprawl there from Loblaw as Hill shoots in. Loblaw shoots in looking for a takedown but Hill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Loblaw's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Loblaw shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No luck for Loblaw with that takedown attempt. Loblaw has a takedown stuffed. Hill throws a right hand that Loblaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Loblaw also avoids with ease. Hill closes this distance looking for a takedown but Loblaw circles away. Loblaw tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Loblaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Hill sprawls well. He's pushed Loblaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Loblaw moves out of range of the body kick from Hill.

Loblaw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hill defends well and Loblaw ends up having to push Hill into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hill. Hill takes an elbow to the temple. Loblaw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hill has him pressed against the cage. Hill wants a takedown but no success here.
Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Loblaw tries to clinch up. Hill leaves Loblaw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill stuffs the takedown. Hill scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hill slows the pace down. Hill working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Loblaw tries to escape but Hill is in control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Loblaw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Donnell Hill's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Loblaw shoots for a takedown but Hill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hill drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Loblaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hill as he jumps to the side. Loblaw is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hill sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Donnell Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Loblaw. Loblaw dives in for a single leg takedown but Hill sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hill breaks from the clinch.
Hill shoots in and drives through. Loblaw sprawls well. Loblaw takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hill closes the distance and pushes Loblaw back into the cage. Hill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Loblaw putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hill in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Loblaw. Loblaw rushes Hill and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hill wants to take the fight to the mat but Loblaw manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Loblaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Loblaw shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense. Loblaw clinches up against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Loblaw is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hill is trying to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill prevents Loblaw from breaking the clinch. Loblaw can't break the clinch.

Loblaw manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hill on his heels. He'll look to pass Hill's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loblaw wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving. Loblaw stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Loblaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Loblaw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
