Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tuan Solis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and No Name Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that No Name Lawson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tuan Solis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, No Name Lawson! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lawson's head. Lawson moves in looking to clinch but Solis pushes him off. Some wild striking there from Lawson.
Lawson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lawson content to stall in guard here. Lawson trying to control the position from guard on top but Solis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Solis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Solis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lawson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lawson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Solis is keeping the position for now. Solis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by No Name Lawson. Lawson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lawson thows a body kick. Solis tries to catch it but that hurt him. Lawson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lawson throwing strikes but Solis manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawson wants to get back to his feet. Solis working away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lawson can do anything to dispel that myth. Lawson tries to improve position but can't. This has been an exciting period of action! Solis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lawson has escaped the position, nice work there. Lawson is looking to regain half guard here but Solis keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lawson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Solis avoids it really well and circles away. Lawson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Tuan Solis has been cut. Solis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lawson slaps away a takedown attempt from Solis, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lawson tries to clinch but Solis is having none of it. Solis has a takedown stuffed. Solis leaves Lawson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Solis wants to clinch. Solis moves into range and clinches up with Lawson. Solis wants to break free but Lawson has control.

Solis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lawson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lawson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lawson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lawson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Solis.

Lawson is looking to clinch but Solis is avoiding it.

Solis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lawson. Lawson gets a takedown into half guard. Lawson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Solis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Solis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lawson is working away from the top position though. Lawson is trying to control. Solis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Lawson throws a big right hand that misses. Solis keeping moving, preventing Lawson from controlling successfully. No Name Lawson has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Solis wriggles free and stands up. Lawson takes one to the chin there. Lawson fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Solis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Solis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lawson defends well and Solis ends up having to push Lawson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tuan Solis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lawson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Solis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lawson. That one must have hurt. A head kick by Solis misses and Lawson counters with a nice body kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lawson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lawson is looking to take this one to the mat. Solis is defending well against a takedown attempt. Solis fails to pull guard.
Lawson goes for a takedown attempt but Solis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lawson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Solis's head. Lawson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Solis counters with a nice body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lawson shoots for a double leg takedown but Solis sprawls well. He's pushed Lawson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Solis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lawson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Solis somewhat. The fight moves into the clinch position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
No Name Lawson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tuan Solis's cut. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Solis throws a sloppy head kick and Lawson moves out of range easily. Lawson shoots in and drives through. Solis sprawls well. Solis leaves Lawson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lawson moves in looking to clinch but Solis pushes him off. Lawson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lawson showed some decent athleticism there. Solis is looking to control Lawson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Solis avoid being mounted? Solis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lawson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solis wants to get back to full guard. Lawson tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Lawson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lawson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Solis works his way to full guard. Good work.

Solis is pressed up against the cage. Lawson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Solis down to the mat. Solis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lawson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Solis counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lawson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Solis as he avoids it easily. A punch combination from Solis misses. Solis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lawson sprawls well. Lawson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Solis gets slowly back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lawson stuffs the takedown attempt from Solis. Solis gets slowly back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to No Name Lawson. Well Lawson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
