Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Geovane Goulart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mano Da Fiel!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Fiel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Mano Da Fiel has been cut.
Da Fiel dives in and scores a takedown into Goulart's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Da Fiel is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Goulart is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Goulart has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Da Fiel has his hands on Goulart's head, controlling the position.
Goulart drops back looking for a leg! Da Fiel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Da Fiel manages to kick Goulart off! Goulart jumps back into Da Fiel's guard.
Goulart is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Da Fiel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Goulart gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Da Fiel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Goulart manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Da Fiel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goulart looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Goulart looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Goulart!
Goulart wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Da Fiel, who protects the arm well.
Goulart has hold of Da Fiel's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Da Fiel seems comfortable defending it but Goulart has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Da Fiel is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Da Fiel is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Goulart couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Geovane Goulart!
