Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Cobb looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Silva is working for a submission of some sort.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Cobb is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Silva tries to stand and escape but Cobb is controlling the position.

Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Cobb is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Silva wants to control the pace but Cobb is squirming around nicely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva tries to control but Cobb wriggling away.
Cobb wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away.

Cobb can't escape the position.
Silva sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Silva manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cobb to take his back!
Silva is persistently looking for the submission but Cobb is defending it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva controlling well, preventing Cobb from escaping the position.
Silva is working for a rear naked choke. Cobb is not defending it well and Silva has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Cobb refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Cobb's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jon Silva!
