Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monte Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dongo Bibo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monte Holt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dongo Bibo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bibo stuffs the takedown attempt from Holt. Holt gets slowly back to his feet.
Holt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bibo rushes Holt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Holt pulls guard effortlessly.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Holt keeping moving, preventing Bibo from controlling successfully.
Bibo forces his way into half guard.
Bibo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holt keeps working.
Bibo is controlling the pace.
Bibo wants to get back to his feet.

Bibo wants to control but Holt is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Bibo seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dongo Bibo.
Holt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Holt moves into the clinch.

Bibo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bibo tries to clinch but Holt moves out of range.
Holt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bibo clinches up with Holt and pushes him back against the cage.
Bibo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Holt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bibo is trying to pull guard but Holt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Holt stalling in the clinch but Bibo improves position.
Holt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bibo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bibo wants to clinch up but Holt keeps it at a distance.
Bibo doesn't manage to clinch there - Holt circles away.
Horrible takedown by Bibo or perhaps it was just good defense by Holt which made him look bad.

Holt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bibo defends well and Holt ends up having to push Bibo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bibo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Holt shoots in for a takedown but Bibo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bibo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bibo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Holt wants to improve his position but Bibo is controlling well.
Bibo is looking to take a break and control but Holt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bibo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bibo is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's time! Holt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Holt drives through and clinches with Bibo against the cage.
Holt throws an elbow that misses.
Bibo breaks from the clinch.
Holt shoots in for a takedown but Bibo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Holt takes the fight into the clinch.
Bibo jumps into guard, dragging Holt to the mat.

Holt passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Bibo tries to get to full guard but Holt has control of the leg.

Bibo is pressing down on Holt's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bibo looking to control.
Bibo wants to stand up but Holt is controlling him.
Holt controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bibo trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Holt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bibo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Holt is controlling him.
Monte Holt has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bibo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bibo jumps guard but Holt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Holt misses with an elbow strike.
Holt fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bibo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bibo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bibo wants to sweep but no luck.
Holt trying to control but Bibo is working from the bottom.
Holt drops back looking for a leg! Bibo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bibo manages to kick Holt off! Holt jumps back into Bibo's guard.
Holt prevents Bibo from getting back to his feet.

Bibo wants to sweep but no luck.
Dongo Bibo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Holt is standing up over Bibo. Bibo looks to escape but Holt dives into side control.
Bibo is not content to let Holt control the position.
Bibo tries to bench press Holt off him but Holt keeps the position.
Holt stands up.
Holt moves into the clinch successfully.

Bibo breaks the clinch.
Bibo closes the distance and clinches up with Holt, looking for a takedown. Bibo pushes Holt against the cage but Holt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Holt shoots in for a takedown but Bibo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Holt shoots for a double leg takedown but Bibo sprawls well. He's pushed Holt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Holt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bibo as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Monte Holt will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Monte Holt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Holt rushes Bibo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bibo pulls guard successfully.
Holt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bibo will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bibo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Holt dives into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bibo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Holt somewhat.

Holt moves into the clinch successfully.

It looks like Monte Holt has been cut.
Holt tries to pull guard but Bibo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Holt closes the distance and pushes Bibo back into the cage.
Holt misses with an elbow strike.

Holt blocks an uppercut.
Bibo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bibo swivels and escapes.
Holt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bibo avoids it really well and circles away.
Bibo tries to close the distance and clinch but Holt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dongo Bibo.
I think Bibo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
