Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Decon Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kleisthenes Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kleisthenes Sawyer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sawyer but Sawyer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sawyer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sawyer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Green's head.
Sawyer slaps away a takedown attempt from Green, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Decon Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sawyer is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Sawyer circles away and we're back to standing.

Green shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sawyer defends it nicely.
Green steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sawyer. That one must have hurt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sawyer. Green shrugs it off though.

Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sawyer defends well and Green ends up having to push Sawyer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sawyer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Green closes the distance and clinches up with Sawyer, looking for a takedown. Green pushes Sawyer against the cage but Sawyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sawyer leaves Green with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Sawyer tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sawyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sawyer but Sawyer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sawyer lands with a kick to the temple. Green shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sawyer tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sawyer to the ground. Sawyer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sawyer scores with a head kick. Green tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Green shoots in but Sawyer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Green shoots in looking for a takedown but Sawyer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Green's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Green closes the distance and clinches up with Sawyer, looking for a takedown. Green pushes Sawyer against the cage but Sawyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sawyer drags the fight down to the ground.
Green thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sawyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sawyer controls Green momentarily but Green frees himself.

Green slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Green has hold of Sawyer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sawyer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Green cranks the arm and Sawyer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sawyer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Decon Green!
